Craighead County, Ark — A 51-year-old Bono, Ark., woman was killed Monday when she failed to stop at a railroad crossing at U.S. Highway 63 and CR 341.
Arkansas State Police said Terry A. Nelson was killed when she drove her ’02 Ford into the path of a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train at about 2:19 p.m. Monday, July 20. Police said the car was northbound on County Road 341. It was a southbound train. Conditions were clear and dry, police said.
The victim was taken to Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
