Donald Trump during his press conference

New York, N.Y., and Washington, D.C. — Today was a big news day for President Elect Donald Trump and members of his incoming administration. Trump held his first press conference in months and Congress held confirmation hearings on his appointees. Tweetie Pie Trump relied on the media today  to stir it up for him . Big topics for discussion of course were the reports reportedly containing  unfavorable information about Trump obtained by the intelligence community sourced by Russia.
Trump said the intelligence  community’s action was “disgraceful  and was something Nazi Germany would have done and will do.”
Trump also  said that he would not divest his business or turn it over to a blind trust. He said the business would be turned over to his two oldest sons.
In addition to this, Sen. Corey Booker testified against AG nominee Sen. Jeff Sessions  and was joined by civil rights activist Rep. John Lewis in confirmation hearings today.
There was little or no spillover on the national news scene today from President Barrack Obama’s farewell address held at Chicago’s McCormick Place last night. Obama’s name came up today when Edward Snowden asked that he pardon Chelsea Manning.
