An EgyptAir plane of the type which crashed killing 66 people

Paris, France — Egyptian officials have reported the successful repair of EgyptAir Flight 804 ‘s flight data box recently recovered from the remains of the airbus that went down in the Mediterranean off the coast of Alexandria on May 19.
Cause of the sudden crash of the Paris to Cairo flight that took the lives of 66 persons has remained shrouded in mystery as the flight’s black boxes have been sought. Both black boxes were found damaged, and repair has now begun on the flight voice recorder. The boxes were sent to France for repair.
Following the repair of the flight data box French officials Monday opened a manslaughter investigation into the crash. Spokesman for the agency did not indicate that they were looking at any deliberate causes of the crash.
